  Find another psychiatric clinic!!! Dr K is alright as a dcotor but he is ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS 35-60 min behind schedule so you will literally have to make a one time visit an ALL DAY thing!! The staff are all nice except for Ashley the "office manager". I was refered back to my insurance for 3 "no shows" and i will own up to 2 of them or one i cant exactly remember but they have a STRICT policy about no shows which i can understand, but the one "no show" that would have them refer me back, i called ahead of time and cancelled. Apparently the lady never put my call or my cancellation on their system so they immediately refered me back to my insurance in other words didnt want me as a patient. I told Ashley that i did call to cancel and she basically didn't believe me. I emailed their website with the complaint and received NO CALL BACK, until i spoke to Dr. Kotomori himself and told him the situation. Then, i called and left Ashley a few messages and finally she called back. Obviously if I was lying, why would i go through the trouble of calling and emailing? So then she sighed and said she would have to listen to all the recorded calls to see if i was telling the truth. The week after, FINALLY, she called and said if i would like to schedule a new appointment. Obviously the rude twit found out i WAS IN FACT telling the truth. NO APOLOGY, NO NOTHING. Just wanted to reschedule. I now see a new psychiatrist and this office ACTUALLY makes reminder phone calls the day before to confirm appointment like my last dr did BEFORE EVER SEEING DR. KOTOMORI. And i rarely ever missed an appointment with them because of that. Too bad my old Doc quit the practice and went MIA otherwise i would still be seeing him. The only good thing i can say about Dr. k is that he does outstanding and thorough evaluations for the first time clients and does a rather expensive DNA sample to see what meds work and don't work etc. But other than that, hes always behind schedule and his staff (Ashley and one other person that i haven't seen in person only spoke with on the phone who has a slight accent a female, the one that didn't record my cancellation) are rude and inconsiderate. I suggest finding an outstanding Psychologist or MFT that has a doctorates degree (nothing less than a Dr. In Psychology will help you i can assure you of that, anyone less than a Doctor of Psychology is NOT going to help you they only want your money and offer NO real therapy, i mean logically who goes out of their way to become a Dr. Of Psychology? Only a person who has much more to offer a client!!) and getting a psychiatrist that will work woth your psychologist that actually GIVES COURTESY REMINDER CALLS OR TEXTS because with quality life group you will have soooo many inconveniences; they don't do courtesy reminder calls or ever texts, and thats not hard to do a mass text to your client's to remind them, but of course this can be complicated if your staff or "office manager" isn't proficient enough to use computer software that can do all these things automatically. As they say in medicine, THE RISKS OUTWEIGH THE BENEFITS, I mean, THE TROUBLE IS NOT WORTH COMING HERE LOL
